Ndigo Terms & Conditions

Last updated on 6 September 2026.

1. Who we are

Ndigo, sole proprietorship in the name of Ineke Vandevyvere. Company number BE 0810.673.441

Stokerijstraat 56, 8800 Roeselare, info@ndigo.be

2. Acceptance and version

By registering, you accept these terms and conditions and our house rules. Both can be read on www.ndigo.be and are accepted when you register.

The version in force at the time of your registration continues to apply to that registration, even if we amend the terms afterwards.

3. Registration and payment

We work per semester. The membership fee for a semester is due upon registration for that semester. Your registration is final once we have received your payment.

If a payment is not made, we send you a first, free reminder. This gives you at least 14 calendar days to pay. If payment is still not made after that, we may charge costs within the limits set by law, and participation in classes may be suspended.

4. Cancelling before the start

If you cancel more than 30 days before the first class or the first camp day, we refund the registration fee, less a 20 euro administration fee per participant.

If you cancel 30 days or fewer before the first class or the first camp day, you receive a discount code worth the registration fee, less a 20 euro administration fee. No refund is given.

You notify us of your cancellation in writing at info@ndigo.be. The date of that notice counts as the cancellation date.

5. Stopping after the start

If you stop taking part in classes or camps, the registration fee is not refunded.

Exception: when the member can provide a medical certificate, the remaining classes can be recovered as a discount code, less a 20 euro administration fee. This arrangement only takes effect from the moment the absence is reported.

6. Discount codes

A discount code is issued in the participant's name and can only be used for classes and camps at Ndigo. The code is valid for 1 year from the date of issue and is not paid out in cash.

7. Missed classes

If a class is cancelled because the teacher is absent, we arrange a replacement or, in consultation with the teacher, look at making up the class.

If a dancer misses a class themselves, it is not made up or refunded. In the event of a longer absence with a medical certificate, we look for a solution together.

8. Replacing and rescheduling classes

Sometimes we have to replace or reschedule a class. We let parents and dancers know as early as possible, so you can adjust your planning.

9. When Ndigo cancels

When Ndigo cancels a course or camp, or cannot let it go ahead, we refund the full registration fee for it. You can also choose to keep the amount as a discount code, in which case there is no administration fee.

In the event of force majeure, article 10 applies instead of this article.

10. Force majeure

By force majeure we mean circumstances beyond our control that prevent classes from taking place in the studio, such as an epidemic, a lockdown or a government measure.

In that case we provide a suitable alternative, for example a class at another location, at another time or in another form, e.g. online. If this is impossible for a longer period, you receive a discount code for the classes that could not be given.

11. Group placement

The artistic direction decides which group a dancer takes classes in, based on level, age and the make-up of the group.

12. Performances and productions

All groups get the chance to dance in the annual production; this differs from year to year and from group to group. We communicate in advance, per production, what we expect in terms of rehearsals and any additional costs for costumes.

13. Insurance

All members are insured for physical accidents through Danspunt.

If an accident happens during a class, ask your teacher for a claim form. The parent or guardian completes it, so you can claim towards medical costs.

14. Personal belongings

Ndigo does not store personal belongings and is not liable for their theft or damage, except where this is our fault. Leave valuable items at home.

15. Images

We take photos and videos in and around classes. We ask for your consent for this when you register.

  • internal use: lesson follow-up, archive and closed groups for parents
  • promotion: our website, social media and printed materials

You can withdraw your consent at any time via info@ndigo.be. From that moment we no longer use new material, and we remove existing material where technically possible.

For dancers under 16, the parent or guardian gives consent. From 16, we ask the dancer themselves.

16. Privacy

We process your data to arrange your registration, the classes, the insurance and our communication. How we do this, how long we keep data and what rights you have are set out in our privacy statement at [www.ndigo.be/privacy].

17. House rules and exclusion

If the house rules are not followed, we speak to you first.

In the event of a serious breach, or when the behaviour is repeated, Ndigo may deny access to classes and the building. In that case we refund the membership fee for the classes not yet taken, less a 20 euro administration fee.

18. Complaints

If you have a complaint, let us know at info@ndigo.be. We reply within 14 days.

Ndigo House Rules

These house rules describe how we treat one another in the studio. The arrangements on payment, insurance and privacy are set out in our terms and conditions above.

Uniform

A uniform gives a sense of pride, unity and connection with the other dancers. A tidy appearance is part of the discipline of dance. Not every class requires a uniform. You can find the correct outfit for each dance style at www.ndigo.be/uniform.

Take off your jewellery before class. Large or dangling jewellery is dangerous for you and for the dancers next to you.

Before the lesson

Arrive 10 to 15 minutes before class. That gives you time to use the toilet, get changed, take off your jewellery and tie your hair back.

Get changed in the changing rooms. People are waiting in the corridors and the waiting area.

Come into the studio on time. If that does not work out one time, come in quietly and wait until the teacher gives you a sign. Apologise briefly after the lesson.

During the lesson

  • Follow along, even while you wait for your turn. Stay standing, unless the teacher asks you to sit down.
  • Listen when the teacher is speaking, and do not talk, not even quietly to your neighbour.
  • Bullying and violence, verbal or physical, are not allowed.
  • Stay for the whole lesson. If you have to leave earlier, tell the teacher beforehand and leave discreetly.
  • Be mindful of other people's space. Give the teacher room, but do not push away the dancers at the back of the studio.
  • No chewing gum, food or drink in the studio. Water is fine.
  • Never stop in the middle of an exercise.
  • If you are in a class that is really too difficult, do not walk off and do not sit down frustrated. Do what you can — no one will hold it against you.
  • Applaud and thank the teacher at the end of the lesson.

Phones and valuables

Leave valuable items at home. If you do have your smartphone with you, take it into the studio rather than leaving it behind in the changing room.

Turn your device off completely, not on silent. Even vibrate mode makes noise.

Filming and photography

Dancers do not film or take photos in the studio. If you want to record part of your class, ask your teacher first.

Before and after the lesson

Ndigo does not supervise dancers before and after classes. Do not hang around the school unnecessarily, and collect children on time.

Respect

Dancers and parents treat the teachers, staff and other dancers with respect, and follow their instructions.

If these house rules are not followed, we speak to you first. What happens in the event of a serious or repeated breach is set out in our terms and conditions.
