What is the Dance Waves Competition?
Dance Waves Competition is a truly remarkable event that brings together talented dancers from Belgium and the Netherlands. It was founded in 2015 by Tine Peters and quickly became the largest dance competition in the region that offers five different dance styles such as hip-hop, modern, contemporary, jazz, and classical ballet.
Dance Waves Competition always strives to uphold a high level of professionalism throughout the competition. The staff ensures this by hiring qualified photographers, and judges and using beautiful theaters for their events. Dance Waves Competition has grown exponentially since its inception and it looks to maintain this legacy as it continues to grow.
What’s it going to be today?
The Dance Waves Competition at CC De Brouckere in Torhout had everyone eagerly anticipating the results – and what an awesome surprise it was when we brought home 1st place.
The weekend after our own annual show in De Spil, the dancers were ready to dance again in this competition’s “Teen Modern Group” category, pushing their limits and giving it their all since they knew that the stakes were high.
It was truly a sight to behold as they confidently strutted onto the dance floor, leaving behind lovely memories and looking forward to more such wins down the line.
The 12-member team had prepared for months. But that paled in comparison to the exhilaration when all of the team heard their names announced as winning first place!
Clouds of joy engulfed them with an ecstatic bliss, an amazing feeling that spread to the onlookers and coaches.
Hard work pays
This fantastic result in Dance Waves Competition served as a huge confidence boost for the team and provided extra motivation for their upcoming competition at The New Prague Dance Festival next July. We are sure that they will continue to strive to reach their peak potential, ensuring a victorious outcome.
